The script was simple but well delivered to us accompanied with solid acting. As Kane 'Knao' Robinson's first performance on screen I felt he did a real good job in playing a hot headed hyped up wannabe East End Top Boy. Schorcher gave a strong performance as the neighborhood stick up man, very standard but believable and realistic at the same time would of liked to of seen a bit more to his story as he was a big part of Summer House. Can't go into everything single character Dris, Gem, Lee etc and break them all down way too longlike but like I said everyone delivered solid performances. A lot of people talking about these two most in particular because they are very current and big in the music scene so chose to highlight them, job well done all round. The scene with the younger taking a crap behind some bins again't a tree while on look out gave me jokes great illustration of being caught short many of us know them belly noises, don't know about you lot but I've always made it to a loo that is officially known as bog when i'm out and about. The Asher.D and Bobby.R head shot scene was well executed, Ashley did great job in his role the acting experience shows good growth in mentality, emotions and levels was on point.
This post is going on a bit now so i will wrap it up because i know most people are not reading an entire essay on this program, it's a good watch would be cool to see it developed with a few more seasons before all "The Wire" comparisons because it's not close to that level depth, plots and characters but there is potential. If you missed it check my other Top Boy posts for the channel 4 link.
