Mister Cartoon - X - Vans Collaboration

Here is the new shoe from Vans and Mister Cartoon, these are definitely going into my Shopaholics Dairy he's done it again this is a fabulous creation. Trademark Mister Cartoon artwork in fine gold embroidery on deep navy leather and suede mix Vans lasting with red bottom soles. I will go into more detail in my next Shopaholics Diary but for right now these have got the whole team going craaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzyyyy!!!!

Threads and Fabrics

Haven't blogged for a few days now, this is because Saculles and George have been in the lab going through a whole bunch of fabrics for the new collection of t'shirts, hoodies, sweaters and cardigans. These will be used on both the "Problem child" collaboration (thank you to everyone who supported the first batch we completey sold out we appreciate the love trendsetters) and the actual Saculles and George official branded clothing. Which is still under construction as the tailoring of the Saculles and George pieces are a lot more complex and there are loads of fine details that need close attention as we are working with loads of different materials for heavier garments. For the time being though here is a peak at the new Problem Child hoodie by Saculles and George.

So You Wanna Be A TOP BOY???

I hope this lives up to expectations. Writer, creator and co-producer Ronan Bennett's new four-part drama "Top Boy" Is almost about to be aired on Channel 4 the first trailer has been popping up all over Ch 4, so the countdown has officially started with promo in full effect. Ronan Bennet is a critically-acclaimed novelist and screenwriter for film and television. He has written Fields of Gold, Love Lies Bleeding and Rebel Heart, and his films include Public Enemies, Lucky Break and Face. The drama features well known faces from our UK scene such as Ashley Walters (Asher D), Kane Robinson (Knao), Tayo 'Scorcher' Jarrett and others. Its about people living on the edge in east London emerged in the inner city drug and gang culture that you can find in any underworld of any gritty city. I'm not going to say too much right now, as everybody else is doing more than their fair share of gassing and comparing. But I will be doing follow up posts as the first episode gets closer. Four parts doesn't seem long enough but that leaves open doors and plenty of room for more. So let's see if it's truly a top boy or just another waste man.

A Shopaholics Diary

Most of people love to shop have fun get fly, get sexy, get gadgets, the list can get crazy. So I decided to start a diary for all the shopaholics out there because people consistently ask "oh where the fuck did you get that from I haven't seen that before" this can come down to - 

A: The fact that they weren't thinking about certain items as priority until they saw me wearing a particular piece or getting my hands on something new. Or B: They lie to themseleves and say i don't care until they see a piece that slaps them to the ground into the reality of them caring and admitting the truth to themseleves.

Back to my entry as a whole i'm really feeling Gucci's 2011 winter collection not every piece grabs me but the majority has got me wanting to relapse into another spending spree. Here are a few things that caught my eye the last time I was out and about.

A Slice Of Proof Cake Anyone.

Hey Trendsetters our wireless went down so couldn't post for the last couple days but we fixed the problem and are up and running again. People don't usually see your vision or plans until you achieve them, most average people can't comprehend things that they can't see. If your vision seems like its impossible to the average eye, seeds of doubt or non belief is immediately planted. Once your goal is achieved though most of the non believers want to come to your house sit at your table and eat off of your success plates until their belly is about to pop. Baking your future is not easy and can take some time to prepare but its worth it when your creativity and hard work comes out of the oven looking like these amazing cakes below and severing a slice to you non believers and haters will feel as good as these bad boy cakes taste.
