R.I.P Smokin' Joe

The team at Saculles & George love themselves a bit of boxing, so I felt I would take a moment to salute a great hero, legend and icon to many in and out of the boxing world. Joe Frazier was born  January 12th 1944 and was the 11th child to his parents he passed away November 7th 2011, sources report that Frazier was diagnosed with liver cancer back in late September. Smokin' Joe finished his career with 32-4-1 with 27 knockouts. when you watch him fight he really came out smoking for real and opponents have said that if you hit him he enjoyed it and gave props and if you knocked him down that would just get him pissed and even more smoking.

Ghetts It In Gang (Call Carlos!!!)

Ghetts has been getting it in for ages, I've always liked his raw deliveries over any beat he feels to lay his vocals to Grime, Hip Hop, Chart whatever. Always enjoy his pieces.

Remember The Times (90's Hip Hop Inspiration)

This era to us is Hip Hop's greatest, when an Mc's level of skill determined whether or not they deserved platinum sales. Too many great artists and moments to mention and by going into them all, the point of the post will be completely missed. Anyways in the 90's Album artwork was just as important as the actual recorded music.

There are more than a thousands words in any photograph, and the artwork in the  those jewel cases have conversations that you can back and fourth ages. They give visuals to the way of life that artists were walking and a feel of the environments they were coming from. And as well as music videos album artwork then was also a catwalk for the must haves in street fashion from east-coast to west coast.

Saculles & George got together with photographer Dean Lewis from Mean Dean Photography for this 90's Hip Hop inspired photo-shoot.
